Three planned views showing what a cable keeper is, how a cable rests in it, and where it fits on a desk.

A product ad can be cinematic, playful, or deliberately simple. Whatever the style, viewers should recognize the product, understand what it does, and know what you're asking them to do next.

Bring Fablo your references and product facts. Discuss the creative direction in chat, produce a candidate, and watch the video before deciding how to use it in a campaign.

Use this guide to prepare a production brief. The examples describe what to request. They don't show a completed run, guarantee that every product detail will be preserved, or confirm how many finished ads a plan includes.

Create a product ad

Begin with what must remain faithful

Show the real product from useful angles, including distinctive details and any packaging text that matters. Add a view of it in ordinary use. Say which supplied images or footage to use directly and which scenes can be generated.

A description such as “a premium bottle” leaves the bottle's identity open. Supply a reference with the exact label and silhouette so production has specific details to preserve.

Prepare useful product references

Give the demonstration one job

Choose what the viewer should understand: the product's category, how a supported mechanism works, a use situation, or the actual offer. Save other messages for separate concepts.

If you want a surreal opening, explain how it leads to a clear view of the real product in use. Give the dramatic story a route into the demonstration.

A brief you can adapt

Create a product-video ad for [product] aimed at [audience/use situation].
Approved product facts and limits: [facts].
Product references and details to preserve: [attachments/details].
The one message the viewer should understand: [message].
Creative direction: [opening and demonstration job].
Actual offer, viewer action, and destination: [approved terms/action/URL].
Required format and runtime: [requirements].
Return the finished candidate and its final script for inspection.

Inspect more than the prettiest frame

Check that the same product appears throughout and that the demonstration matches your supplied facts. Listen to the audio, read the captions, and confirm the closing action and export. If a required detail is wrong, point it out in the revision request and say what to keep.

Accept the video when it meets the production brief. You'll still need to test its campaign effectiveness with your audience and media programme.

Follow the first-product-ad lesson

From the guide to your next brief

Make your next video from a clear brief.

Bring your idea and reference materials to a Fablo conversation, then review the result before you download and share.
